By committing to documenting every stage of the experiment, it forces me to clearly articulate What am I doing, and more importantly, Why am I doing it?

By putting my ideas and thoughts into writing, I’ve already found that it has highlighted several illogical jumps in thinking.

The mere act of getting the words out is helping to line things up in my head, and I’m hoping that will help me avoid going down some blind alleys on this journey…
